The Covid-19 pandemic has caused severe pain to economies around the world and at the beginning the fear was very genuine.
The information that came out from China at the beginning was very grim and there were very genuine fears that Beijing was covering up case totals and death totals.
Countries that are heavily dependent on tourism were hit first. Then the countries with the most vulnerable supply chains faced serious economic pain. As the pandemic worsened countries reliant on hydrocarbons faced very severe economic pain. Dozens of countries went to the IMF/World Bank needing funds to avoid going bankrupt.
Thanks to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko the world has found out that these institutions have conditioned aid on imposing extreme lockdowns and curfews.
During negotiations he found out that they were conditioning the aid on imposing a lockdown modeled on what Italy did which imposed an extreme lockdown closing almost everything.
“We hear the demands, for example, to model our coronavirus response on that of Italy. I do not want to see the Italian situation to repeat in Belarus. We have our own country and our own situation,” stated President Lukashenko.
Belarus is one of the few European countries which did not impose a lockdown as President Lukashenko felt it wasn’t necessary.
Lukashenko’s critics have been proven wrong about the response as Belarus has 67,366 cases and 535 deaths. Belarus’ fatality rate is one of the lowest in the world and it is vastly lower than it’s counterparts in Europe like Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, and Russia which imposed lockdowns.
The IMF and World Bank are tools of control that the globalists use so it makes sense as to why they would condition aid on imposing lockdowns and curfews because it leads to more economic pain and continues the cycle of needing aid to avoid bankruptcy.
