Said Chetouane is a 15-year-old boy and political dissident who regularly attends protests against the corrupt Algerian government. He was arrested by the police pigs and while in their custody the pigs sexually abused him. When he got out the traumatized and devastated boy testified about what the scum did to him. The system arrested those who filmed his testimony that he wanted to get out and they threatened his mother with arrest if she kept fighting.
The system though had major problems on its hands because one, he remained strong and defiant despite horrific trauma inflicted on him, but also because the regime lied. In an interview Algeria’s Prosecutor General said in the same interview first that a medical examination was done on Said Chetouane but then actually he was never examined. In addition to that fact, the attempts to intimidate his mother into silence failed.
However given the system’s nature they tried something new to discredit Said Chetouane so they brought out his mother, Khadidja Abraz’s ex husband Nasser Chetouane to try to slander him. He first threatened to press charges against those who said Said Chetouane was sexually assaulted even though the evidence that he was is very strong and continues to grow. The system had a problem though, Algerian law forbids such actions such as filing a lawsuit on behalf of the kid in the event of divorce if the courts don’t rule you have custody of the child.
With that fact though despite the pressure from the system to violate Algerian law, the father ultimately refused to file a lawsuit against those who filmed Said Chetouane’s testimony.
The system is running out of options in their increasingly desperate attempts to cover-up what they did to him.
